Martin Luther King Day - No School

Please remember that there will be no school for students on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This federal holiday honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader in the American civil rights movement who advocated for equality, justice, and nonviolent social change. Many communities observe this day as a “day of service,” encouraging citizens to volunteer and support their neighbors in Dr. King’s memory. School will resume on Tuesday, January 20. We hope this day offers everyone a chance to reflect, learn, and consider how we can each contribute to a more just and inclusive community.
