Upcoming Back-to-School Events and Reminders

Dear Newfane Elementary Families,
As we prepare for another great school year, I want to share a few important reminders:

• Pre-K and Kindergarten Roundup and Bus Safety Day: Saturday, August 22, from 11:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at Krull Park
• Newfane Community Day: Saturday, August 22, with vendors and food trucks from 12:00–8:00 p.m., live music, and a free family fun zone. Be sure to stop by the dunk tank—Mr. Gammiero and Mr. Crombie will both be taking a turn in the hot seat!
• School Backpack Giveaway: Tuesday, August 18, and Tuesday, August 25, from 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. at St. Brendan Church, 3455 Ewings Road
• Elementary Meet the Teacher: Thursday, September 3, from 4:30–6:30 p.m.

We plan to mail classroom assignments next week. Thank you for your patience as we continue balancing classes and accommodating newly registering students. We want to ensure our classrooms are set up to provide the best possible experience for every child.

As a reminder, school supplies will be provided free of charge to all students. Breakfast and lunch will also be available to every student at no cost each school day.

We are excited to welcome everyone back and look forward to seeing many of our families at these upcoming events!
